ONLINE Family Week Fall Gathering in the cloud.

BACDS Family Week is holding a virtual one night gathering on Sept 25th from 6:30–8:30pm (PT)

What better way is there to escape the pressures of school and work and wildfire (oh my!) than an evening of music and dance and laughter and gathering in community? You will find some of the familiar features of camp, plus some new and wonderful things.

The evening will start with BREAKOUT ROOMS for a chance to greet your age group or adult friends. Breakout rooms were a big hit with the summer gathering. Please register with your childrens’ names and ages so we can have breakout rooms ready to start at 6:30.

This event features Sam Bartlett with his amazing Stuntology - Sam will have you laughing and anxious to try these antics at home. If you haven’t seen Sam before, you can get a preview for the show on YouTube. Sam and his family will also play a short concert.

You will have a chance to participate in perhaps the first ever remote potato dangling event. This popular event was brought to camp by Kalia Kliban, and she will be hosting the remote races. What is potato dangling? This video from camp explains it all: https://www.facebook.com/552769150/videos/pcb.1710959272335274/10155868467554151/

The evening will include a dance taught by Claire Takemori, accompanied by Gordon Allen, a story from Greg Begin, and will end with Pied Piper David James leading the parade.

Information is available on the BACDS Family Week Facebook page (request to join if you’re not a member), or by email from familyweek@bacds.org.

This event is free. Donations are gratefully accepted and will go to Sam Bartlett and family.
