Celebrate the Bicentennial (nearly) of Mary Anning's discovery of the first complete fossil Plesiosaur in the rocks at Lyme.

Dance like Jane Austen! Waltzes and easy set dances, taught and called by our esteemed Dance Master, Alan Winston. No experience or partner needed.

Live music by the Divertimento Dance Orchestra.

Regency (roughly 1795 -- 1820) formal, Regency naturalist/scientist/fossil-collector/paleontologist or Plesiosaur/Dinosaur attire admired but not required.

Mary Anning is planning to show her fossils.

SAVE THE DATE! 1726 Ball - an evening of all early eighteenth century dances for experienced dance connoisseurs, called by Kalia Kliban, Sharon Green & Mary Luckhardt, and period music led by Judy Linsenberg. There will also be a rehearsal dance on Friday night, possibly a workshop on Sat afternoon, and a brunch and social dance on Sunday in Sebastopol (at different venues). Stay tuned for details.

SAVE THE DATE! Join us for 2 days and 2 nights of English dancing, music-making, and workshops aplenty, beginning with dinner on Friday night! All calling will be gender neutral. Fall Frolick opens at 4pm on Friday, November 13 (with dinner included) and ends at 5pm on Sunday, November 15. Teaching Staff: TBA Fall Frolick is a primarily English dance weekend sponsored by the Bay Area Country Dance Society to provide an opportunity for dancers, callers, and musicians to explore the extraordinary range of English country and related dance forms, and discover and learn from wonderful teachers and splendid musicians in a glorious setting. Fall Frolick is for all English country dancers and musicians, experienced and novice alike. Registrations must be received by TBA to be considered in the lottery (if needed). Please register early: space is limited.
