Announcements about BACDS and affiliated events. The upcoming week's dance calendar is posted here every Monday, and there will be occasional announcements about other events. Anyone can post an announcement to this list, but only those deemed by the moderator to be BACDS-related will be approved. This is not a discussion list. This is an announcement-only list. Replies to postings should be directed to the poster or to the bacds-discuss list.
Discussions about BACDS-related topics. Anyone can start a discussion on this list about any subject related to BACDS or its activities.
This is the electronic flyer mailing list. Whenever BACDS mails packets of flyers to its members (usually quarterly, but occasionally more often), a message is posted to this list informing subscribers where they can download copies of these flyers online. This is an announcement-only list.

Debugging log:

* Security notes: Most actions taken on this page will result in an E-mail being sent to your declared E-mail address to confirm that you are, indeed, the person who requested that action. This is to prevent other people (with the exception of the list administrator) from altering your subscription status or learning your password. This is a minimal level of security: it is only as secure as your personal E-mail account. List passwords are sent as plain text in the "Get My Password" E-mails. Because E-mail traffic can be intercepted, it is best not to use a password that you also use for other purposes. It's usually best to let the system generate a random password and ask for it when you need it, which won't be often.

Some lists require the moderator to approve subscription requests. In this case, you will not receive the confirmation E-mail until the moderator has approved your request.
