May

Saturday, May 1
Morris! The first of May! Morris dancers around the world will be dancing up the sun today, and BACDS teams will be joining in the early morning revelry at four different locations; I've indicated webpages for more information. Berkeley Morris, 21 years old and still going strong, will dance up the sun at Inspiration Point in Tilden Park. In Palo Alto, Mayfield Morris, Mad Molly and Deer Creek Morris Men will dance at "ConcreteHenge" in the Baylands--muffins and coffee will be served. In Santa Cruz, at the lighthouse, Seabright Morris and Sword will be out to kick off a day of dance. And finally, the newest team, San Francisco's Goat Hill Morris (no webpage yet, sorry) will dance on the east side of Twin Peaks in the heart of San Francisco. Other morris events abound this day and throughout May, see the individual pages for schedules!
