BACDS
celebrates its sixth Fall Ball, an evening of elegance and the enjoyment that
is
English Country
Dance.
This year we highlight the wonderful compositions of Gary
Roodman.
Come join the Fall fun, footwork, flirtation, and frivolity, featuring
traditional and modern dances.

Practice workshop 2:30 pm - 5 pm with Jenny Beer and
David Newitt, with tunes by Craig Johnson and David Strong
(for extra practice come to the regular BACDS dances early
November)
Join us for Singing (rounds, catches, bawdy songs) at 7:30pm with Ric Goldman
Dancing begins with a Grand Marche at 8 pm and continues until 11 pm
Half-time performance by Norton's Guard longsword
Please bring a contribution for the (quite) late brunch
potluck
buffet after the Ball
Dances will be briefly talked through but usually not prompted.
Ticket prices are: $17 preregistered (by November 1st), $20 at the door; $6 for workshop
only
