CEILIDH BACDS' new first Sunday ceilidh series returns to GNC. Alan Winston teaches you all you need to know to do this raucous English dance form (it's been described as England's answer to contradancing). A very special evening of dance with George Marshall and Wild Asparagus (Ann Percival, David Cantieni, George Marshall, Stuart Kenney, and Becky Tracy). For those of you who don't know them, George and Wild Asparagus hail from Western Massachussetts and are one of the hottest contra combos in the country. Note the special location for this night only: this is a special joint NBCDS/ BACDS event; couple dancing (and no, "COUPLE" doesn't mean you need to bring a partner!) 6:30 to 7:30, followed by (mostly) contras 7:30 to 10:30; members $11, non-members $13. Sorry, no special passes will be honored for this event.
